The Chestnut Conference Centre is an accessible venue. Captioning will be provided for all oral presentations. For planning and seating purposes, please let us know if you use a wheelchair/powered scooter, will be bringing an attendant, or if we may accommodate you in another way.
*A lunch will be provided for registrants attending for the full day.
We are planning a Trainee Networking Breakfast at Research Day (details below). Please contact Alisa Grigorovich ( for more information, or if you are interested in attending.

At this speed networking event, TRI trainees meet with Toronto Rehab scientists/experts in a format similar to speed dating. Topics to be addressed by the scientists/experts:
  • Clinical research
  • Work/Life balance
  • International collaborations
  • Non-academic career options
  • Life after grad school
  • Business & Commercialization
You and ~ 5 other students will interact with the scientist/expert for 15 minutes before moving to another table (topic). In all, you will have the opportunity to interact with 4 scientists/experts.
Please answer all questions below:
Attention trainees: You must be the presenting author and the first author in order to be judged in oral/poster/display competition.
Theme: (Please indicate 1st and 2nd choice of theme that most closely describes the work in your abstract. Final theme selection will be made by adjudication committee)
